Rosamund is a Dullahan who moved to Earth, originally residing in the Realm of the Undead. She's always had a fascination with the transient lives of demons and how they change as a species. It's interesting to see how demonic culture grows, changes and develops over time! Or that's what she says at least. Do not mistake her kindness for weakness- she is an undead being who knows her way around a spine whip.
Because Rose is a Dullahan, she is immortal- only being able to die when her head is destroyed. Her only real weaknesses are hereditary- She can't swim, and has a terrible allergy to anything made out of gold. To fit into demonic society, she usually "wears" her head on her shoulders, but takes it off when in the privacy of her own home. Rose has a surprisingly deep voice despite her appearance and behavior, and purposefully speaks in a higher pitch than "normal," making it one of the few things she's self conscious about. She has a tendency to act a little bratty in relationships, often wanting to be spoiled rotten by her lovers, but overall she exudes a warmth and love that makes dealing with her quirks worth it.

She works as at a publishing firm, not for the money- but to broaden her horizons and learn as much as she can, from all walks of life. Her many years of existence make her an excellent proofreader, though she can be a little slow to pick up modern slang. Her favourite genres are history and romance. Of course, she's also an avid fan of shoujo and josei manga!

When she's not reading for work or pleasure, she loves attending local idol concerts in the city. She's a real intense wotagei girlie, earning respect from both older fans and newcomers alike. She's even workshopping some personalized calls for the members of FLESHRIPPER- her girlfriend's metal band- much to their chagrin. Her favourite idol group is BLOOD✰MAGIC, which I will definitely get around to designing one day I promise.

Her hobbies include visiting trendy cafes, reading old Visual Novels and some eroge, collecting Marroncream plushies, and trying new skincare routines because when you're literal thousands of years old your skin starts sloughing off and dying.

Rose's design has gone through a lot more dramatic changes than Raz' has. Originally she had heterochromia, a full skull head, and wasn't plus-sized but I decided to rework everything into her current form! I like to think that the longer Dullahans live, the more hair and skin falls off of them in the (infinite) aging process. It gives her a lot of self-esteem issues, but she has a partner who thinks it's metal as fuck, so it's all good!
Rose is also a foil/love interest to Raz. She's the thing that blunts all that edge. At her core, Rose- in spite of the crapsack world she's in- believes in kindness above all. Being a caring person means being a strong person, and I want her to be a shining example of that!
I also made her plus-sized, for no other reason than because I wanted to. At first, I was worried about writing her to really enjoy sweets- but plus-sized people are allowed to enjoy sweet things without judgement. Fat people shouldn't be restricted to a diet of brussel sprouts and grass- and honestly, it's none of my business why people eat what they do.
She's also got a fun sense of style. I love drawing fun, frilly outfits and oversized sweaters, and it just made sense to design a character who enjoys wearing them! I'd like to wear elaborate dressy clothes, but I just don't have the confidence to pull them off... HOWEVER I'm an artist, and I live through my fat girl oc, her deep pockets, and wardrobe.
