About the World
It is now 2500 years after humanity drove itself to extinction. Hell is full of so many tortured souls that, ironically, there's no more room for the Demon population to grow and thrive. With a planet free of Human influence and lots of living quarters [mostly] intact, Demons started to move out from Hell, taking up residence in the abandoned Human world, fixing things up and rebuilding society to fit their own lifestyles and physiology.
...Which is a fancy way to say "this is a fantasy-esque slice of life kind of world that also is kind of shitty and it sucks."
My long-time goal is to make a webcomic with my own OCs, living out their daily lives as best as they can in a shitty world. I know it's a very original and unique goal, but I just want to draw some comics focused on living a fulfilling life in a world that isn't so great.
About the Characters
As a general descriptor, my characters are a mix of what I like, what I want to see portrayed in media, and what I find interesting! A lot of my characters are Filipino-coded, because I didn't really see Filipino characters/other OCs often enough in media for my liking.
The inspiration for my characters comes from a whole bunch of places. Dorohedoro, punk ideologies, my own heritage, and a lot more! But those are some of the main things I use as "jumping off-points" in my art. Keep an eye on this space- eventually, I want to have pages for a few more other OCs!
And why demons, anyway? Because demons are cool and horned women are sexy. That's why.
