About Raz

Razaphael, or Raz as her friends call her, is a demon who primarily runs on spite and cigarettes. She makes ends meet through running her own repair shop- it isn't the most consistent work, but she finds a lot of enjoyment in fixing up old busted cars, in her own garage- creatively named Death Metal. When not working, she plays local shows with her metal band-her sound manipulation abilities make her a killer vocalist, putting her a step above other singers in her niche.

Personality-wise, she's curt and standoff-ish, frequently struggling to find the words to express herself. She does enjoy companionship, but often worries about the inherent vulnerability that comes with communicating her feelings. That being said, she's fiercely loyal to those she lets into her inner circle, willing to put aside everything to help then when she's needed.

Her mask is a cursed artifact, removing the wearer's face should they choose to put it on. It still retains normal functions, like being able to move the jaw- though the effects of face-removal are permanent. How she managed to come across it is a mystery because i haven't thought that far yet sorryyyyy hehe. Because she has no lips to speak of, she shows affection by rubbing her chin on her partner instead of kissing them, kind of what a rabbit would do. She's also capable of some low, deep "purring" noises, which she only makes when she's SUPER comfortable and relaxed.

She's Filipino-coded, speaking in a Cebuano accent. I haven't outlined the specifics of it yet, but I like to think she grew up in the Phillipines and moved to what is essentialy Evil Demon Toronto. lol

Raz' Origins

Raz was originally a one-shot character I threw together for a F.I.S.T one-shot. At the time, I was under the impression that I was never going to play as this character again, so I threw some traits together. That's where her abilities came from- I chose the Banshee and Yuki-Onna traits, which were homebrew traits that gave her ice and sound abilities.

As for her color scheme, it's cringe but whatever: It comes from Alruna. Like, Gaia Online's Alruna. More specifically, the Alluring color scheme. I had a lot on hand at the time, so I used them and threw together a quick avi using them. I like throwing together avis on Gaia for one-shot characters, it's a quick and fun way to help people visualize what my character looks like.


The mask idea was blatantly ripped off from INSPIRED by the Crestfallen Mask from "World of Horror." Honestly I just thought the entire concept behind a fucked up evil mask was cool.
